Author Guidelines

AUTHOR GUIDELINES FARMASINDO

1. Title

• Concise and informative, not exceed 20 words (Bahasa Indonesia), not including the conjunction. Short phrases are counted as one word.
• Must be written with Font TimesNewRoman, 18pt, Bold, and Left alignment.

• Authors name must be written with font Times New Roman, 16 pt,without academic nor occupational title.
• Authors affiliation must be written in 10 pt.
• Authors contact(e-mail address) must be written in 10 pt, italics, 1.5 lines-spaced.

2. Abstract

• Abstract should be concise and highlighting the importance of the research, which contains background, purpose of study, methods, main findings or results, and principal conclusion
• The caption“Abstract” should be written using Times New Roman, 18pt, bold, center alignment.
• Abstract should be prepared in Indonesian and English with Font Times New Roman, 11 pt, single-spaced, maximum 200 words.
• Abstract must not contain citation or equation.
• Keywords must be written in English, 11 pt, italics, lowercase, maximum 5 words or short phrases.

3. Body Text

• Body text should be written using Times New Roman, 12pt, 5 lines-spaced, justified, A4 paper size, margin top 3.5 cm; bottom 2.5 cm; left and right 2 cm

• The text should be structured as

INTRODUCTION

The introduction section should present the objective of the study and its relationship to earlier work in the field.  State the scientific problem (s) or hypotheses described in the article. Explain the importance of the problem to the field of study. Provide adequate background and also concise literature that frames the content of the article, to show earlier researches or existing solution/method. Describe why the study could solve the limitation of the earlier work or the novelties of the study. Should not be an extensive review of the literature

METHODS

Contain brief but sufficiently complete description of procedures and materials in order to allow the experiment to be repeated. Only new procedures should be described. Previous published procedures should be referenced. Significance materials should be described in detail.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

Results should be clear and concise. Data should be presented in table or graphs. Summarize the important finding. Avoid to describing all the data in detail.  

The discussion should explore the significance of the results of the work, not repeat them. Clearly state the interpretation of the study results and the discussion of the other relevant published data. Avoid the repetition of studies explained in the introduction.

CONCLUSION

This should clearly explain the main conclusions of the work highlighting its importance and relevance. Conclusions are not an extension of the discussion or a summary of the results. Do not repeat the Abstract, or just list experimental results. Conclusions must not contain references to the cited literature.

REFERENCES.

• Section caption should be written using Times New Roman, 12pt, bold, All caps.

• Total pages for text is 8-20 pages, NOT including graphics and tables (please prepared separately).
• Use only standard abbreviations, The spelled-out abbreviation followed by the abbreviation in parenthesis should be used on first mention unless the abbreviation is a standard unit of measurement.
• Special term, if any, should be written using italics.

4. Tables

• Tables should be submitted in separate file from bodytext.
• Please submit tables as editable text and not as images. All tables must be placed on separate word file. Use .doc or .docx type or .pdf file only.
• The caption should be brief, clearly indicating the purpose or content of each table,written using Times New Roman, 11 pt, bold.
• The text inside the table should be written using Times New Roman, 11 pt, single space
• Mention the tablesin the text.
• Tables should be numbered in Arabic numeral.

5. Figures

• Figures should be submitted in separate file from bodytext.
• We only accept JPG, JPEG, PNG and TIFF format with minimum resolution 500x300 pixel.
• For molecule structure, we highly recommend to use .cdx format (chemdraw) or .mrv (marvin sketch)
• For figure which has published before, author should mention the source.

6. Citation
   • References must be cited by numbering [1], and it could be presented using reference manager, in which the Mendeley is the recommended one
     

Example:

       If only one reference:

Two or more reference:

       .......................................[2-4].

7. References

• Please use the last 10 years reference, mainly primary literature (research article).
• Sort the reference list based on the number.
• Please use standard template available in reference management software such as Mendeley
