TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN SWAMEDIKASI OBAT ANALGESIK PADA MASYARAKAT DUSUN NGLEMPONG, DESA SUKOREJO, KECAMATAN WONOSARI, KABUPATEN KLATEN
Abstract
Self-medication is an effort made by people to treat themselves without instructions from a doctor to treat conditions they recognize or diagnose themselves. Analgesics are one of the drugs that are widely used by the public for self-medication. The implementation of self-medication is related to the use of medication and the accuracy of dosage. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of self-medication of analgesic drugs in the community of Nglempong Hamlet, Sukorejo Village, Wonosari District, Klaten Regency. This research is a type of non-experimental research that is descriptive in nature and uses a purposive sampling method for sampling with inclusion and exclusion criteria. The sample in this study was 86 respondents who were obtained through calculations using the Slovin formula. Collecting data distributes questionnaires then the data obtained is processed into a table to get a percentage. The results of the research regarding self-medication knowledge showed that 64% of respondents had a good level of knowledge, 29.0% of respondents had a medium level of knowledge and 7.0% of respondents had poor knowledge. Regarding analgesic self- medication, it can be concluded that the average respond ent's knowledge regarding analgesics is classified as good (80%).
