Abstract

Completeness of prescription plays an important role in preventing medication errors that harm patients. This study aims to assess the completeness of prescriptions from administrative, pharmaceutical, and clinical aspects at Jaya Pharma 9 Pharmacy, Kediri Regency, based on the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. 73 of 2016. The study was conducted descriptively retrospectively with a population of 224 prescriptions from January-March, then 100 prescription samples were taken that had met the inclusion and exclusion criteria for the period January-March 2025, which were taken using a simple random sampling technique, the data was copied on the Data Collection Sheet. The results showed that in the administrative aspect, the highest completeness was in the patient's name (100%) and the lowest in the prescription unit of origin (70%). In the pharmaceutical aspect, most elements were complete, except for incompatibility (0%). For the clinical aspect, indicators such as indications, doses, and allergies were recorded as complete (100%), while contraindications were not found (0%). In conclusion, there were still incompleteness in several aspects of the prescription, especially administrative and pharmaceutical, which needed to be improved to support standard pharmaceutical services.
