GAMBARAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN MASYARAKAT TENTANG SWAMEDIKASI DIARE DI DUSUN KRANON DESA BLIMBING KECAMATAN GATAK KABUPATEN SUKOHARJO
Abstract
Self-medication is the use of simple medications by individuals to overcome health problems without first consulting a doctor or health professional. Diarrhea is an abnormal condition characterized by an increase in the volume and frequency of bowel movements, which is three or more times a day. This study aims to find out an overview of the level of public knowledge about diarrhea self-medication in Kranon Hamlet, Blimbing Village, Gatak District, Sukoharjo Regency. The research method used is descriptive, non-experimental by conducting a survey using a questionnaire. The population used is 181 people. The number of samples was obtained from the calculation using the Slovin formula. The respondents studied were 125 respondents who included inclusion and exclusion criteria using the purposive sampling method. The results of the study showed that the percentage of knowledge of diarrhea self-medication with good criteria was 110 respondents (88%), while the sufficient criteria were 13 respondents (10%), and the respondents with less criteria were 2 respondents (2%). So the results of the research on the level of public knowledge about diarrhea self-medication in Kranon Hamlet, Blimbing Village, Gatak District, Sukoharjo Regency have an average level of good knowledge, which is 88%.
